Kepler's 2020 Project in the News:
This is a very well written story of love, loss, relationships and memory. It has received the Kirkus Award for best book club choices for 2007. While a woman is walking on Ocean Beach with her fiance's child, she is distracted and the child is abducted. What follows is a year of searching for the child, and what memory recalls, and what happens in the relationship with the woman and her fiance. I told the author that I thought she chose the right ending, yet I was not totally satisfied, and she reminded me that I was still thinking about it. A very good read, especially for book clubs.
