Kepler's 2020 Project in the News:
I fell into this book and was swept away by the haunting, complex, beautifully written prose where the strange is accepted as normal and the past blends with the present. It is about so many things: a missing cat, a disintegrating marriage, psychic sisters, the atrocities committed by the Japanese in Manchuria, a shady politician, an unbalanced teenager, meditations at the bottom of a well. At its heart, good and evil fight over a woman. It is the best book I've read this year. --Angela M.
