Waggit Again - Kepler's Staff Review

Waggit is older and so are the themes in this sequel.

Waggit has been left by his new owner at a countryside farm. He thinks he has been abandoned --again! Determined to return home to his true family, the dog team in Central Park, Waggit escapes. His journey home as a stray dog through the railside sections of towns and suburbs is not an easy one.  He both receives help from a homeless woman who can speak with dogs and gives help to an abused dog who has nowhere to go and noone to belong to.

Waggit is coming of age as he discovers that time moves on for every dog. Going home does not mean going back into the past just as it was, and assumptions quickly made can lead you astray. Some things, however, do remain the same as he learned as a young pup: Leadership takes courage. Trust and love are both a risk and a reward.
