The Tiger - Kepler's Staff Review

What happens when the order of hunter and prey are flipped? What happens when the prey becomes the hunter, and the hunter the prey? Yuri Trush, a Russian tracker living near a tiny village, must hunt a Siberian tiger that killed a poacher. The tiger is perfecting his human killing skills with a speed that astonishes even the seasoned trackers who are sent to hunt him. Trush has to learn what drives the tiger to behave in this terrifying new way, and how his team can stop this ruthless predator. The book is by turns absolutely fascinating and monstrously chilling. Vaillant explores the world of the Siberian tiger from its mythic history and extreme habitat, to modern economics and black market poaching.
