Kepler's 2020 Project in the News:
In a nutshell, this is Diary of a Wimpy Kid for Star Wars fans. Naturally, when I saw this book, my first thoughts were, The Force is Strong in this One. Dwight is a sixth grade oddball who mostly keeps to himself until one day when he folds an origami Yoda out of paper, perches it on his finger, and begins to give advice to his classmates. But here's the thing: the advice actually works. Each chapter is written by a different classmate, and they share in detail both their crisis and what Dwight, speaking as Origami Yoda, advised them to do. I laughed so hard that I cried. Then I read it again! Read this, you must. Share it, you will. Reviewed by Penelope |
