Reynard the Fox is where medieval classics meet reality TV. You will feel equal parts disgusted and amazed. Reynard does horrible things and when it seems there is no way he could escape blame, he does (and escapes it convincingly)! Broken up in eight parts with 44 short chapters, titles include:

  • Reynard is arrested and condemned to death
  • In a very tight corner, Reynard not only escapes hanging but turns the tables on all his enemies
  • Reynard returns to court
  • Reynard the Fox bamboozles and distracts the court with elaborate stories of non-existent precious objects

And so on... Addicting! --Caitlin

The most amazing popularizing physics book. If you know nothing about theoretical physics, start here. This is the most clear and digestible descriptions of Einstein's special and general relativities, quantum theory, and much more! If you've read a decent amount of books on physics, this is still an amazing book to read. The metaphors Greene uses are one of the best ways I've found for describing these theories! Also, the structure of his arguments, the way he relays the information, is amazing! So in love with this book. It must be read by all!!! --Caitlin

"I mean whenever someone asks me about fantasy versus realism, I'm like, 'I don't know, guys.  Did we not all just descend into some underworld, watch strangers from our past kaleidoscope through us according to some pattern that is both illogical and has its own strange melting truth, and then wake up and have a Poptart?' Why are we talking about fantasy and reality like they're opposed?" -Karen Russell in an interview with Guernica Magazine.
