Kepler's 2020 Project in the News:
Absolutely ridiculous amounts of fun! There’s no other way to describe Soulless -a title, by the way, that matches the content of its book not at all. Picture Victorian England. Now add a dash of steampunk culture (dirigibles, clockworks!), a sprinkling of alternate history (how DID such a tiny island conquer most of the known world?), and a gallon of weird in the form of Werewolves, Vampires, and sinister Octopodes. Oh, and did I mention the buckshot parasol? If it all sounds a bit mad, it is, but in the best way. I guarantee the adventures of Miss Tarabotti --soulless half-Italian spinster and owner of the afore-mentioned parasol--will have you up half the night racing to the finish. I’m on tenterhooks waiting for the next book in the series (Changeless), which comes out at the end of March. Sarah L. |
