Kepler's 2020 Project in the News:
This book has stayed with me. I loved the evocative descriptions of wartime London and the friendship between Martin, son of an English music promoter, and Dovidl, a Polish emigre violin prodige. On the eve of his public debut, Dovidl disappeared and Martin spends years searching for him. This is a story of music, regrets, and betrayal, how we come to terms with our pasts, the training of a musician, the shenanigans of a promoter, and ultimately about the book of names and why it was so important. --Angela M.
