Kepler's 2020 Project in the News:
Relentlessly witty and intelligent, this is Klosterman at his best. His comical insights are slightly more thought-provoking then his topics might inspire in someone less twisted. Part essay and part memoir, this "manifesto" does not shy away from supposedly "low culture" pop culture phenomenon that many "Generation Xers" may be ashamed of. When reflecting on his personal experiences, most memorably growing up in Rural North Dakota, Klosterman's overwhelming self-awareness provides a great foil to his essays. Some topics will make you long for the 90’s, but Klosterman's jokes and analyses are timelessly comical. The more memorable topics include: John Cusak in Say Anything, The Real World, and The Sims.
