Kepler's 2020 Project in the News:
"This is the house (and jungle-strangled yard) I
come from and carry," so writes Atsuro Riley, whose poetry generates a kinetic
energy that unfolds itself through a dense spiral of music and imagery--a mosaic
of the speaker's internal world as a boy growing up in the lowland country of
South Carolina. I thought of Faulkner and Joyce as I read Riley's work. And
though this is his first collection of poems, it is the most unique I've ever
read.
