A short car ride away from most anywhere in the Bay Area you can be quickly immersed in deep Redwood canyons with cascading mountain creeks or mountain top meadows overlooking the Pacific Ocean and awesome Bay panoramas. Many parks have easy access trails for little hikers and those who want a trail that is short and sweet without the sweat. I regularly hike the trails along the Skyline Spine and up and down both sides. Every trip and hike is different, each special and unique.

I can't think of a better, faster, cheaper way to get my senses fine-tuned, my mind put into a peaceful state as well as a leisurely or strenuous day's adventure.
