Kepler's 2020 Project in the News:
I was captivated by this novel about the early life of Ernest
Hemingway and his first wife, as he struggled to become a writer of substance in
the early 1900's in Paris. What a troubled genius he was. And what a life was
enjoyed with his friends like Gertrude Stein and Scott Fitzgerald and so many
others that went on to fame but maybe not fortune in their lifetimes! This is
told from the perspective of his first wife, Hadley, and rings true about the
artist community in Paris, the place of women during that time, and the
underlying emotions of a woman trying to support her creative husband
unconditionally. It has inspired me to go back and reread "The Sun Also
Rises." -- Nancy S.
