Kepler's 2020 Project in the News:
Catherynne's duology is a mythic masterpiece! A girl with dark tattoos around her eyes is abandoned to walk the sultan's gardens. No one realizes that hidden in the tattoos are wondrous tales. Mythology abounds in these pages and Catherynne is an amazing tale-spinner. Reading Orphan's Tales is akin to cooking a succulent pot of cajun gumbo. You have to let the words simmer on your tongue and then the images will be with you forever. --Chuck P. |
