No One Is Here Except All of Us - Kepler's Staff Review

For a village of people whose history it has been to migrate, to settle, to be unsettled, to again wander, to find peace and comfort only to have the world show them more harm was on the way, starting over fresh was the only answer.  No one is here except all of us.  No one else exists, no history, no knowledge of the world, no memories and no bonds other than the bonds of the individuals to the village. Wow!

The characters in this novel are rich, the imaginative world that this village creates and the events that eventually force the group to “remember” are breathtaking.  Lots of descriptive narration, flawed characters, controversial decisions, war, friendship, love, salvation, is all folded into the theme of “belonging” to the earth.  Book clubs, lick your lips.
