By Night in Chile - Kepler's Staff Review

This guy's writing is so good, so beautiful, I forgot the storyline several times. The "plot" - such as it is - concerns a dying priest who looks back at his life and some of the choices he made. But it's the soaring passages of masterful prose that make Bolano, who died too young a few years ago, so good.
