Kepler's 2020 Project in the News:
I
love natural history museums. There are very few things that are as
astonishing, as strange and wonderful, in quite the same way. It is
impossible to duplicate the feeling of walking through cool, carefully
lit halls and seeing examples of the natural world held so close and
still that you can see the wear on a lion’s teeth and the velvety
scales of a butterfly, but this book offers an entirely different
experience that satisfies the same curiosity and provokes the same
wonder.
Produced in conjunction with the Smithsonian, this is a guide and knowledgeable companion on a tour of several thousand of the world’s species. Each page is filled with stunningly detailed photographs set against a background of clean white paper and informational text. The book is large, so the images are big enough to satisfy the curious eye and filled with enough light and color to make close examination a serious pleasure. -- Megan K. |
