In this modern day Don Quixote, Jack and
Sadie Rosenblum leave prewar Berlin to establish a new life in England. Jack is
determined to become the quintessential Englishman. He tries everything to
master the language, becomes a successful businessman and even buys himself a
Saville Row suit. But when every golf club in England denies him admission, he
decides he must build his own course. He and Sadie set off for Dorset where he
dreams of building his own course on a 62 acre hilly plot of land in the middle
of nowhere. Murphy’s law applies here as anything that could go wrong does go wrong. But Jack is a gentle man who
will let nothing stand in the way of his naïve dreams. This comic tale of
