Kepler's 2020 Project in the News:
Our heroine Zee, like most of us, has planned a life for herself. She has studied hard to become a psychotherapist, and she is engaged to the perfect man. With the suicide of one of her patients, memories of her own childhood and her own mother’s unhappy life are awakened. They along with being newly confronted by her father’s illness, force Zee to question her “life map”. The story itself takes place in current day Salem. Along with our heroine’s personal trials with her past and present, this novel includes a touch of Salem history, a touch of New England folklore, mystery, love, intrigue and a little witchcraft. This story, like her former novel, The Lace Reader, is masterfully woven and has all the elements of a great book club book. This is one of those novels that is hard to put down....satisfying from beginning to end. |
