Kepler's 2020 Project in the News:
Henry Moss is a molecular geneticist, specializing in Hickman congenital disorder that causes children to age drastically and die of "old age" as teenagers. His fourteen-year-old patient William Durbin will die soon if he doesn't try the miracle cure against all the ethics. Henry Moss looks at the world with a mournful love. It is the same kind of love that one feels toward life and the human condition, love that is carried and suffered like some dreadful disease. I was smitten by Byers' beautiful, wise and sad prose. The reader's heart will ache for his melancholy characters, so deeply in love with the world. --Aggie Z. |
