Kepler's 2020 Project in the News:
This is an utterly entertaining memoir from an octegenarian about living on a farm in Iowa during the depression. The extended family had no heat, no electricity, no plumbing, and relied on their own ingenuity to survive. Everybody had daily chores, and even the "little kids" had do them. The author includes song lyrics and family recipies that were part of her family in a much simpler time. A delightful romp for anyone who ever drank water from a hose. Nancy S. |
