Just So Stories - Kepler's Staff Review

These stories have been stuck in my head for years. How The Leopard Got His Spots. How The Whale Got His Throat. How things might have happened, O Best Beloved, if only you keep an eye on the curious and the extraordinary. They are a joy to read, and even better out loud. You'll want to eat the words, stamp your feet to the rhythm. They are best of all though when shared: stories for bedtime, or for hot afternoons when jungles and dingoes and the Limpopo River are easy to imagine.
