When Jake and Kady's parents don't return from their latest expedition the kids are devastated. But when they are invited to London to open the new exhibit of their parents' lives' work, things start to get a little more mysterious.
And then things get decidedly odd and more than a little dangerous when they are transported to a massive jungle, are set upon by dinosaurs, rescued by Incans, arrested by Romans and guarded by Druids (Jake) and Amazonian warriors (Kady).
The kids soon discover a world where civilizations from across the world and throughout history have met, come together and tried to create a safe haven in this dangerous, alien and magical landscape. Jake and Kady, however, just want survive and find their way home. The question is, will they ever be trusted enough to do just that?
