Kepler's 2020 Project in the News:
This is a book. This is a book about a monkey, a jackass (mostly not a metaphorical one), and a mouse. This is a book about books – the kind made out of paper, the kind you hold in your hand and put on a shelf, the kind that have no screen and no batteries. “How do you scroll down?” the jackass wonders. “I don’t,” says the monkey. “I turn the page. It’s a book.” And so it is. A wickedly clever one. The illustrations and text are spare, silly, and unabashedly stylish. The final line is just a little naughty and will have both children and adults laughing in appreciation. This is a book for people who love books. This is a book for people who love gadgets. This is a book for anyone who loves to read, whether they do it by paper, pixel, or something we haven’t yet imagined. -- Megan |
