Horns - Kepler's Staff Review

Heart-Shaped Box author Joe Hill is back trumpeting his talents with Horns. Horns tells the story of Ig Perrish. Ig isn't doing too well - still under suspicion of raping and murdering his girlfriend, Ig wakes up one morning from a drunken stupor with one and a half inch horns protruding from his head.
Now whenever Ig is around someone, they begin to spit out things they'd never admit to or say aloud in public. (A couple of hilarious scenes is with a doctor's receptionist and a spoiled kid and a cop who acts on his attraction for his male partner). But when it's your priest, friends or family revealing these secrets it makes you want to go screaming into the hills!
Soon Ig turns more demonic, attracts hundreds of snakes, and is on the trail of the psychopath who murdered the love of his life.
They say paybacks are a bitch, but in this case it is a devil with a pitchfork! --Chuck P.
