Kepler's 2020 Project in the News:
The Glass Castle is an intense story about a closely knit, but dysfunctional family. As the life of Ms. Walls unfolds, and you meet the colorful members of her family, you have to keep reminding yourself that this is a true story and not a novel. There is no self-pity in this childhood account. Ms. Walls writes as an almost dispassionate on-looker rather than the heroine of this memoir. My favorite non-fiction book of the year. Sina H. |
