Kepler's 2020 Project in the News:
When Kimberly Chang and her mother arrive in America from Hong Kong, and are
sponsored by relatives, they are forced into a deplorable living situation in an
uninhabitable apartment with rats, roaches and no simple amenities like heat
and electricity. They are forced into sweatshop work to survive. Yet Kim
realizes that education will be key to their future, and that she will be the
only one to improve their lot in life because of it. This is a satisfying read
about an all too common story in America. There is love, prejudice, stress, and
the will to survive and thrive at any cost. The author has put her life out
there, and it is well worth your time to read it.
