Kepler's 2020 Project in the News:
This beautiful book, a memoir of sorts, chronicles a year (four seasons) in the life of new parents under truly extraordinary circumstances. They have just welcomed twin boys and a mere hours later Anthony receives news that he has just been awarded a fellowship from the American Academy of Arts and Letters in Rome. This book is without doubt for parents, but it is also a love letter to Rome, for those who love to travel and find being anonymous in a new city the perfect cure-all antidote.
I loved walking through Rome and feeling like I was there, completely out of my element but hopeful. Picturing this family strolling through Rome, you feel the unconditional love new parents have for their children. Towards the end of their last season, Anthony does a spot-on job describing what it was like when Pope John Paul II passed away and how he was able to feel an entire city in the midst of it all.
I cannot say enough about this book. Had I the means I would have booked a ticket to Rome right then and there - perhaps someday.
