Kepler's 2020 Project in the News:
By Frances O'Rourke Dowell Isabelle Bean did not exactly fit in. You may know her -- she's the girl in the back of the class, head down, no friends to speak of, a little bit "other-worldly." That is until the day Isabelle Bean got sent to the principal's office (again), opened the door, and Fell In! To where, she had no idea, but it most certainly was better than where she had been. Isabelle sincerely hoped that she was in a place of fairytales, of elves and dragons, where a misfit like her belonged. All she needed to do was start down the path in front of her, the one leading into the woods, the one she hoped had all the answers. A little bit Alice in Wonderland, a little bit Wizard of Oz, this charming story is rich with imagination, a nice spin on the traditional fairytale. Reviewed by Amanda |
