Eventide - Kepler's Staff Review

Haruf's previous novel, Plainsong, is probably one of my all time favorite books. I was absolutely delighted when I realized Eventide continued where Plainsong left off. My favorite characters, the wonderful McPheron brothers, are back along with Tom Guthrie and his two young sons. Both books are about creating your own family when the one you were born to leaves much to be desired. Haruf is a genius at creating characters so wonderful that you fall in love with them and making Holt, Colorado a place you want to travel to and meet them.
