Gift giving – a chore? a joy? It can be easy, fun, and ‘green’! Learn how to save money, enjoy alternative and creative gift giving, and improve our planet’s health -- all at the same time. Discussion topics will include:

1. Saving trees: Greener ideas for gift wrapping & packaging

2. Eco-party time - Using of compostable dinnerware alternatives

3. Top Green gift-giving tips (ideas for greening your gift options)

 

Prepare your home for the holidays: Save money and make your living space healthier

1. Save money: Ways to cut your electric bill; Water conservation at home.

2. What to do about indoor air pollution.

3. Mold in my home? Where? What to do?

4. Hazardous materials at home? Alternative and healthy options fo dealing with VOCs, house cleaning materials, insecticides, laundry products, and more.

Avi Green Now! is an educational venue in Menlo Park that offers an eco-presentation series as a community service. Founded by Michal and Avi Lenchner, the non-profit association is funded by Avi Decorative Painting, Inc., a family-owned business and an award-winning and recognized contractor in Menlo Park. Avi Green Now! strives to educate and increase public awareness about living green, healthy homes, greener communities, and healing the planet.
