12:15 p.m.: Actor and comedian Geoff Hoyle. Bay Area favorite Geoff Hoyle has returned to the stage in "Lear's Shadow", in which the Jester, recently unemployed, tells his side to Shakespeare's most tragic, cosmic, and human of stories. This poignant one-man piece was written in collaboration with and directed by the master of the solo form, David Ford. Geoff joins Angie to discuss both this new work and his career, which ranges from early years with the Pickle Family Circus, to memorable Commedia Dell’Arte characters, to stage work with Bill Irwin, Tony Kushner, and Maurice Sendak. |
