Kepler’s in our community…

Kepler's has a long tradition of supporting schools and non-profits in our community. We created a program that allows us to provide meaningful support to our Partners throughout the year. Community Partners get 10% back on any non-discounted purchases their community members make at Kepler's throughout the year. We keep track of member sales and send a benefit check to partners on a quarterly basis. In 2008, Kepler's donated over $24,000 to our partner schools, libraries  and non-profits

School Partners

This year alone, Kepler's will bring close to 40 authors into local schools for more than 80 presentations. Frank Beddor, Sherman Alexie, and Robin Preiss Glasser, are just a few of the highly-acclaimed writers Kepler's has introduced to local students.

Kepler's Community Partners in Education are the first to know when we bring an author to town. Thanks to this unique partnership, thousands of local students have come face to face with some of their favorite authors for an unforgettable experience.

"Antonia Squire and Sarah Durkin are the Batman and Robin of children's booksellers. Their Bat Cave, Kepler's Bookstore, has an enviable children's section, and the most diverse and incredibly well-organized author school visit program that offers writers a diverse audience of young readers. I've had some of the most receptive, exciting, and engaging students of any city I have visited across the states. For me, it starts and ends with Kepler's." ~ Frank Beddor, author of The Looking Glass Wars Series
