Montreal music critic Eric Siblin travels the world learning the cello and on the hunt for original scores or manuscripts about the legendary Bach cello suites. In this beautiful book of biograpy, music, history and travel, Siblin juxtaposes the epic lives of Bach and Spanish cellist Pablo Casals who resurrected the suites and made them famous.
