About the Author

Erin Grove is a Saginaw Valley State University Class of 2011 graduate. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, with minors in English, Math, and Early Childhood. Currently, Erin is a teacher in her hometown of Hale, Michigan. She enjoys reading, writing, and spending time with family and friends. Sarah Granger is a 2010 graduate of Saginaw Valley State University. She majored in Elementary Education and received minors in English, Social Studies, and Early Childhood. She is currently working at an elementary school in her hometown of Swartz Creek, Michigan as an intervention teacher. Sarah enjoys writing, coaching soccer, and spending time outside with her family and friends. She is looking forward to sharing her love for reading and writing with future classrooms and children for many years to come. Cassie Birchmeier graduated from Saginaw Valley State University in 2011 with her Bachelor's degree in Visual Art Education with a focus on painting and drawing and a minor in English. Cassie has a passion for all things "Art" and is currently working as an independent photographer and portrait artist. She takes every opportunity she can to share her love for the arts with others through volunteering and substitute teaching. She enjoys traveling, the outdoors, and spending quality time with her family.
