About the Author
William F. Bynum is Professor Emeritus of the History of Medicine at the Wellcome Centre for the History of Medicine at University College London. He is the author or coauthor of several published works, including Science and the Practice of Medicine in the Nineteenth Century, Great Discoveries in Medicine, and The History of Medicine: A Very Short Introduction. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of London and of Edinburgh. Jonathan Cowley is a British actor hailing from Eastbourne, East Sussex, but he currently calls Los Angeles home. He received AudioFile Earphones Awards for his narration of The Science of Evil by Simon Baron-Cohen and The Tower, the Zoo and the Tortoise by Julia Stuart. He has narrated many audiobooks and can also be heard on both sides of the Atlantic narrating film trailers and documentaries.
