About the Author
Roald Dahl is one of the most beloved storytellers of all time. He wrote award-winning books for children, including Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, James and the Giant Peach, and Matilda. He died in 1990 at the age of seventy-four.
Quentin Blake has illustrated over three hundred books, including most of Roald Dahl's children's books. He lives in London.
