About the Author
Tom Angleberger ("Rise of the RoboShoes ") began writing his first novel in eighth grade, but never completed it. Since then, he s been a newspaper reporter and columnist, a juggler, a weed boy, a lawn-mower-part assembler, and a biology research assistant. This bestselling author insists he s not really all that creative "I m more of a puzzle-putter-together."
Ray Bradbury (1920 2012) was the author of more than three dozen books, including Fahrenheit 451, The Martian Chronicles, The Illustrated Man, Dandelion Wine, and Something Wicked This Way Comes, as well as hundreds of short stories. He wrote for the theater, cinema, and TV, including the screenplay for John Huston s Moby Dick and the Emmy Award winning teleplay The Halloween Tree, and adapted for television sixty-five of his stories for The Ray Bradbury Theater. He was the recipient of the 2000 National Book Foundation s Medal for Distinguished Contribution to American Letters, the 2007 Pulitzer Prize Special Citation, and numerous other honors.
Shannon Hale is the New York Times bestselling author of The Goose Girl, Rapunzel's Revenge, Ever After High, and Newbery Honor winner Princess Academy. Her past pets include rabbits, birds, dogs, cats, lizards, and a snake who broke the world record for longevity. Currently her pets include four small children. She can be found herding them with her husband, author Dean Hale, somewhere in Utah.
