Apples for Jam - Kepler's Staff Review

Tessa Kiros is like Rose Water and Pistachios to my Rice Pudding! Wandering through the pages of the whimsical and colorful Apples for Jam, I feel like a child again. Lush colors divide each section, the recipes simple but decadent, everything from light-as-feather ricotta gnocchi, buttermilk ice cream, baked apples, creamy penne with shrimp to wintry sausage and potato goulash. Lingering joyfully over this book, I imagine a happy family around a worn wooden table feeding each other bites of roast rack of pork with fennel and honey or spoonfuls of cranberry sorbet. It is heaven and you will feel like twirling atop a hillside in the Alps and singing! And if that doesn't inspire your curiosity, the beautiful photographs of Tessa's Tuscan home will, reflecting the joy, comfort, and companionship she experiences cooking for her family.
