Kepler's 2020 Project in the News:
This is a very timely and truly beautiful book. Featured are photos of magnificent meadows in nature throughout America, as well, as meadow gardens adapted to show the best of nature in your own backyard. Not only will these gardens be self-sustaining in terms of less usage of water, fertilizer and other chemicals, but it will cut down on the noise and air pollution of mowers, blowers & edgers.
We are reaching a point when water for lawns will be restricted, so it is best to get ahead of the game. I am planning a meadow garden to replace a lawn at my home in the Sierra foothills. Being a bit of a novice, I really appreciate the step by step process of the transformation, along with the photos. It goes on to take you through the cutting and maintaining of the plot.
The author is a Californian, who was on NPR last month. His book has also been mentioned in the San Francisco Chronicle twice .
